We serve a risen Savior, he's in the World today!
First and foremost we are so thankful Jesus rose from the grave. The kids do know that Easter is not about bunnies, eggs, and candy. However we do incorporate those things into our celebration. We didn't do a lot this Easter....no egg hunts or dyeing eggs. Why??? We were in the middle of the worst rain marathon since Noah!
Our Easter weekend started with picking T up as usual. Then we meet my parents and my brother and his family at Cracker Barrel for dinner. We ended up staying there for awhile because there were tornadoes everywhere in NWA. Saturday we got up and just messed around town. It was pouring rain so we didn't do a whole lot. We ended up curling up and watching Yogi Bear instead of dyeing the Easter eggs. Sunday morning we got up and went to church. I love our church. It was a very touching sermon on worship! The kids didn't have children's church so they sat out with us. After church we went to lunch with Christina and her girls. Hadley fell asleep within 10 minutes of being there and slept the whole time. Praise Jesus! :-)
